The property is owned by Sam and Doris Collins.  Our original plans were to take this house and turn it into a home again.  In the process we learned a great deal about the property and what it means to the community.  The Stringfellow property is something that should be open for all to experience.  

The property and family have been featured on HGTV, in Black Enterprise magazine and several other publications.  Now you have an opportunity to experience Stringfellow Orchards for yourself.  Once you step onto the property, you will know that this is the place for your special event.  Let us create a lifetime memory for you.

We are a young couple making a difference in our community.  We both grew up in the small town of Hitchcock and we came back to give back.  We have four children, two girls and two boys.  When renting our site you are sowing a seed into the project and into the future.  Sam also serves on the Board of Advisors with the National Trust for Historic Preservation (NTHP) representing Texas and on the THC State Board Review.
